A further development available on the CCTV market is Video over IP. It is now possible to monitor multiple sites in real time (25 frames per second) from a centralised point through ADSL broadband.

The IP platform offers tremendous cost savings in comparison with ISDN tariffs and traditional telecoms solutions.
